Terms of Use

These Terms govern your use of the PhotoNSC macOS app and the PhotoNSC website. By downloading, installing, or using PhotoNSC, you agree to these Terms.

1. The license

PhotoNSC is licensed, not sold, to you for use on Macs you own or control. You receive a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to run the app. The free version includes 100 photo conversions; PhotoNSC Pro, a one-time in-app purchase, unlocks unlimited processing.

2. Purchases and billing

PhotoNSC is a free download from the Mac App Store; PhotoNSC Pro is a one-time in-app purchase, not a subscription. Apple processes all payments, Family Sharing and purchase restores, and handles refunds according to their own Media Services Terms. We don't process payments ourselves and have no access to your payment details.

3. Refunds

Refund requests are handled by Apple through the Mac App Store — see Apple's refund request process. If something isn't working as expected, email support@photonsc.com and we'll help however we can.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

Reverse-engineer, decompile, or bypass the app's licensing mechanism
Redistribute or resell the app outside the Mac App Store
Use the app for any unlawful purpose

5. Your content

PhotoNSC processes the photos and folders you choose entirely on your own Mac. We never receive, see, or store your photos — you retain full ownership and responsibility for the files you process.

6. Intellectual property

PhotoNSC, its design, and its branding are owned by us. This license does not grant you any rights to our trademarks, source code, or other intellectual property beyond running the app as intended.

7. Disclaimer of warranties

PhotoNSC is provided "as is," without warranty of any kind. We don't guarantee the app will be error-free or uninterrupted. Always keep your own backups of original photos before batch processing.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of PhotoNSC, including loss of data or files. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for your license.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate a license for violation of these Terms. You may stop using the app and request account/data deletion at any time.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above.
